A new movie theater opened in Louisville in business park

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A new movie theater opened in Louisville right off I-64.

The Xscape Multiplex is just one of the many entertainment-related projects underway at the Blankenbaker Station Business Park.

Scott Bagwell, vice president of Patoka Capital, said, “What we have here is a brand new, state of the art advanced technology entertainment facility encompassing 14 theaters with stadium seating. And we have two extreme screens and what an extreme screen is, it’s basically like an Imax except for it doesn’t have the Imax branding.

The theater also serves hot food, as well as alcohol, beer and wine. It takes up just a small part of the 560-acre business park which also houses Humana and an FBI facility.
